As a member of Private Certified Housing, our facilities have been certified by the University of Illinois to meet their requirements for freshmen housing.  We have the distinction of offering excellent services to our residents that exceed those standards.  A student’s academic success is often tied to their social and emotional adjustment and we take a personal approach in helping to insure that happens.  We provide an evening study hall, enforce quiet hours on the floors, as well as offering ongoing programs in which we invite U. of I. staff from the various colleges to an informal lunch or dinner with our residents. 

To help them balance their academic pursuits we assist our Resident Advisor staff in planning a variety of social, cultural and intramural activities that help students to make new friends and become part of a smaller community within the larger university.
